During the first session of the conference, the participants got acquainted with the results of the projects that were implemented in DSTU under the Erasmus+program.
The theme of the projects is striking in its diversity:
- development of cooperation on the "university – enterprise" model (UNISON project);
- creation of centers for the development of competencies and employment potential (COMPLETE project);
- Development of the industry qualification framework for the tourism industry (EURDIQ);
- creation of a system of recognition of informal / spontaneous learning in higher education (project VALERU).
Vice-Rector for International Affairs of DSTU - Svetlana Shvedova noted: "We are proud of DSTU's participation in the Erasmus+program projects. This is a great opportunity to improve the quality of education and promote internationalization. That is why we continue to strengthen cooperation with universities in Spain, Great Britain, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries. We have many competencies and opportunities to work together and implement new ideas".
During the second session of the conference dedicated to the development of network partnership, the participants discussed the ideas of new joint projects and prospects for further cooperation. The Reunion Rooms became an open platform for meeting representatives of universities in Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Austria, Germany, Greece, Georgia, Spain, Great Britain and other countries.

"Today we not only met with old friends and remembered our joint projects, we saw new opportunities for cooperation, discussed formats and areas of interaction», – Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations of the Kazakh Academy of Labor and Social Relations Gaini Mukhanova said, who also spoke about the sustainability of the COMPLETE project of the Erasmus + program in Kazakhstan, trends for its further development in the direction of the initiative to create an Alliance of Career Centers, Competence Development and Talent Management in Central Asia, which can include the Centers of Competence and Employment Potential Development (CCED) created within the framework of the COMPLETE project.
Special attention was paid to the synergy of the COMPLETE and ALLVET projects.
