Today, Narxoz University organized a virtual breakfast meet with its Lithuanian university partner Mykolas Romeris University (MRU). Over coffee and sandwiches, the two rectors shared their experiences on running a university during a pandemic, the law school heads shared updates and exchanged notes on its graduate dual degree program on European and International Business Laws recruitment, and together, discussed ways to further develop relations and partnerships with different departments within the two universities.
From Mykolas Romeris, the meeting was joined in by Ms. Inga Zaleniene, the Rector of MRU; Ms. Lyra Jakuleviciene, the Dean of Mykolas Romeris’s Law School; Ms. Dovile Gailiute-Janusone, the Vice-dean for International Relations; and Mr. Virginijus Bite, the Head of the European Business Law programme. From Narxoz University, the meeting was joined in by Dr. (Prof.) Stanislav Buyanskiy, the Acting Rector of Narxoz University; Ms. Lennora Crilov, Manager of International Programs and Admissions; Mr. Medeu Kurmangali, the Acting Dean of the School of Law and Public Policy; and Ms. Dilbar Gimranova, the Dean of the School of Economics and Management.
Though Covid-19 has put a damper on most international travel and partner visits, Narxoz and its partner universities continue to come together to build on its endeavors to make quality global education and experiences accessible to all.
