NUCB Business School will be holding two concurrent series of free and open webinars called "Insights From Industry Leaders," featuring speakers from the international business community, and "Leading in Turbulent Times," featuring very own esteemed faculty members. Students of NUCB Business School and those of partner institutions, prospective applicants, and alumni are all welcome to join these 1-hour sessions.
By hosting these series, we hope to promote the interests of higher education and strengthen managerial awareness by reaching out to those who would like an opportunity to challenge themselves during a challenging time by experiencing what NUCB Business School has to offer virtually.
We ask our colleagues at partner schools around the world to help us reach out to their students with information about these series so that they may consider this rare opportunity to join us from overseas.

Campbell Hanley's decades of experience in Japan began with his work as a writer for the Mainichi Newspaper and international publications such as Time, Fortune and the International Herald Tribune. His experiences there led him to directing business and managing accounts for advertising firms, including BBDO, PHD and Omnicom Media Group, before he became the general manager of Weber Shandwick Japan. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with branches of Japanese government and companies around the world, as well as foreign-affiliated companies in Japan to provide comprehensive services, from planning and implementation to operation and global communication.

Speaker: Professor Tomofumi Anegawa
NUCB Business School

Prior to joining the NUCB Business School faculty as a full professor, Professor Tomofumi Anegawa was a faculty member of Keio Business School from 1983 until March 2020, initially giving lectures at NUCB Business School as an adjunct professor starting in 2017. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Tokyo in 1977, completing coursework at the Graduate School of Economics in 1983, and received his Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University in 1991. He specializes in applied economics, economic policy, and medical or health economics. He has done extensive research in the area of intellectual property rights in the pharmaceutical field and has contributed efforts to the research of crisis management in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011.

NUCB Business School

Dr. Kuok Kei Law gained his PhD from City University of Hong Kong in 2011. Prior to joining NUCB, he gave lectures as an Assistant Professor at the Open University of Hong Kong between 2010 and 2019. He has extensive experiences teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. His research interests include knowledge management, human resource management, and sports management. His work has appeared in internationally renowned journals such as Journal of Knowledge Management and European Management Journal.

CEO, Motherwell Resources LLC

Kathi Love is currently the CEO of Motherwell Resources LLC, a company devoted to management consulting and executive coaching, and serves on the board of directors of Comscore. Prior to founding Motherwell, Ms. Love served as the President and CEO of GFK MRI (formerly Mediamark Research), where she maintained top-line growth and profitability and introduced new products and services for an advertising industry in transition, overseeing the launch of those products internationally with partners in China, the U.K. and Eastern Europe. She has served on the board of directors of the Advertising Research Foundation, The Media Behavior Institute and the Market Research Council, of which she is past President.
Ms. Love held executive positions at The New York Times, EMAP Publishing and The Magazine Publishers of America. She has been an adjunct or guest instructor at Rutgers University, Brooklyn College and Queens College and a frequent speaker at international conferences on publishing and advertising. She is a professional certified executive coach (PCC) and is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF). She also uses her coaching skills doing pro bono work at the Atlas School for Autism. In 2018 she was inducted into the Market Research Council Hall of Fame.

Speaker: Professor Hakeem Muhammad Mohsin

NUCB Business School

Dr. Hakeem earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Management from Graduate School of Economics and Management, Tohoku University, Japan. His master degree was also received from Tohoku University, and his MBA and BBA (Hons.) from COMSATS University. While at Tohoku University he was awarded various scholarships including Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT) for Masters and PhD. He worked as JSPS fellow at Tohoku University before joining NUCB Business School. He was part-time lecturer at The Department of Global and Interdisciplinary Studies (GIS), Hosei University, and Graduate School, Tohoku University of Community Service and Science. His professional experience includes work in Investment Management, Financial Consultancy, Education, Training and Career Counselling in different organizations. He has published a number of articles and participated in a series of conferences. His research interests include but are not limited to International Business, Strategic Management and Network Science.

Professor Ted started his business career in Enterprise Sales for IBM. He joined Bain and Company after business school and used his four years of experience there to then become Director of Strategy for AirTouch. Over his 20 year career experience as an executive, he has operated under numerous titles, including Chief Marketing Officer with Vodafone Japan/Verizon Wireless/and the Digital Phone Group; Global head of Commercial Strategy for Vodafone; the head of the 2 Billion USD enterprise group at Japan Telecom; the head of their Private Equity Group in Asia for Fidelity; and COO of Picsel Software.
