Erasmus+ Credit mobility at Poznan University of Economics and Business

In the period from 04/08/2019 to 04/12/2019 Ph.D., Assoc. Sanam Mirzalieva, a fculty of theManagement Department,  participated in academic mobility to teach on the topic "International competitiveness of the country: the example of Kazakhstan" within the Erasmus + program at a partner university - Poznan University of Economics and Business in Poland. Foreign and Polish undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the International Business program showed a keen interest in the topic. At the end of each session, during breaks, students asked additional questions and were interested in Kazakhstan and the topic of the lecture.

Sanam also attended a number of meetings with various departments of the partner university (international department, scientific research department, career center) and said that there is no distance learning in Poland, because according to the law, 80% of the training must be completed by students attending classes. However, PUEB has a personalized attendance schedule for working students. Students who work with a high GPA are eligible to apply for such a schedule.

According to the survey, 90% of PUEB alumni are employed.

Sanam also attended lectures by foreign lecturers in groups of foreign students. Together with her foreign partners, she exchanged experience of the methods used in the learning process.

In general, the academic mobility program was fruitful, as evidenced by the desire of the teachers of the PUEB Department "International Competitiveness of Countries" to start joint research projects on various topical issues of economic and business development and to attract colleagues from other European universities.
