Nursultan Nazarbayev was the founding father of the Eurasian Union, and Kazakhstan might very well be the Buckle in the belt of China’s Belt & Road Initiative. And now that the EU-Kazakhstan Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (EPCA), entered into force last month, this multivector policy proves Kazakhstan’s role as the Eurasian transit hub.
