International Conference "Transformation of University Libraries in the Context of Modernization of Higher Education"

On February 13 and 14, 2020, Narxoz University, with the support of the Association of Libraries of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is organizing the IV International Conference “Transformation of University Libraries in the Context of Modernization of Higher Education.” The purpose of the event is to discuss topical issues of information and library provision of educational and research activities of universities.

Within the framework of the conference, reports will be presented, as well as consultations and master classes from domestic and foreign representatives of librarianship will be organized. The experts will consider in detail the issues on the legal aspects of digitization of the book fund of university libraries, copyright and plagiarism.

"Legal aspects of digitization of book collections of university libraries: problems and ways to solve them."

At the end of the seminar, the participants will be given certificates.
