Global Professional Development Opportunities Narxoz faculty, staff, and administrators are the foundation for all university operations and success, and Narxoz' commitment to global excellence. There are many global opportunities for employees to develop the Narxoz community by expanding their international competencies, research, networks, and professional skills through exposure to outside models and networks.
Narxoz employees have participated in a variety of opportunities lasting one week to a year, the most common being:
- ERASMUS Credit Mobility for Faculty Program
- U.S. Department of State professional exchange programs
- American Councils on International Education - UniCEN programs
However, faculty and staff are not limited to these programs and can also find other global professional opportunities to participate in from short-term visits and conferences to longer visiting opportunities. Employees can meet with the International Development and Partnerships Office to review the feasibility of outside opportunities.
It is important for employees to meet with their supervisor to align their professional duties at Narxoz with the program they are applying for, assuring they can both take an approved leave of absence for the duration of the program and also commit to using the knowledge and resources gained during the program to help develop the capacities of Narxoz University within their areas of expertise upon their return.
