Health facilities at Narxoz University

All students and staff of Narxoz University are registered under University's Medical Health Center.

What services are offered free of charge:

general medical consultations
wellness support (quit smoking, weight loss, stress management, drug and alcohol-related advice)
seasonal medical examination (including blood test, x-ray, optometrist, otolaryngologist)
sexual health (educational activities to prevent HIV, AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases)
referrals to specialists
women’s health/pregnancy advice, family planning

Together with the Students Affairs Departments series of free guest lectures and info sessions for students and staff are being organized each semester on the topics :

family planning
women's health
preventing the spread of STDs, AIDs, HIV etc

Sport facilities at Narxoz University

Grand Pool

Grand Pool is located on the campus of Narxoz University. University students are engaged in a PE there as a part of the syllabus. The swimming pool and gym are open to employees, as well as citizens of the city of Almaty.
