In the near future, changes will be made to the student learning process, in particular, as elective courses, disciplines will be offered that reflect the latest trends in the field of information security, as well as legal responsibility for cyber incidents. Further, Kaspersky Lab will launch training for university professors, which is an integral part of a comprehensive educational program aimed at raising the level of knowledge about malicious programs and means of combating them among various groups of the academic environment - from students to higher teaching staff. This is a necessary stage in the preparation of the teaching staff for the transfer of the acquired knowledge to students of their universities.
“This year, new training courses from Kaspersky Lab for students will be devoted not only to the technical aspects of cybersecurity, but also to the whole variety of legal and corporate risks of the organization, which will be studied primarily by specialists from the financial sector, management, and the insurance market,” says Evgeny Pitolin is the Managing Director of the Kaspersky Lab office in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Mongolia.
“Issues of information security are becoming more relevant every day, and it is very important that lawyers and insurers understand the cyber risk market and legal aspects,” said Andrew Wachtel, Rector of Narxoz University. We see that there is a serious shortage of personnel in our industry, and this is a global problem. I am confident that our cooperation with Kaspersky Lab will be beneficial not only for us, but also for the high-tech business in Kazakhstan as a whole. "
