Anastassia Skoptsova completed a semester abroad in Poland at Poznan University of Economics and Business through the Best Erasmus + Student award. Hear Anastasia talk about her grant and study in Poland.

"Many of my goals were achieved, namely, improving my speaking skills in Korean. In addition to the courses organized by Kangnam University, there was also the opportunity to speak Korean every day. The fact that the majority of Koreans do not speak English was a revelation for me. I still can't believe my childhood dream of going to Korea became a reality. "Visiting Shanghai was my dream and I achieved this goal through drive and motivation. Studying abroad was the best choice to help me complete the foreign language requirements for graduation. It helped me to really learn the world of Chinese characters."

In the fall of 2018, I left for the academic mobility program at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow. This was my first experience of studying abroad. Before that, I was in Moscow 2 times when I was in the 1st and 2nd grade. The very trip abroad and studying at a university other than my native one made me a completely different person when I arrived home. I saw the world in a completely new way, met students from different countries. This experience of acquaintance allowed me to begin to speak English fluently, to understand their culture, life.
The study process itself was very interesting, I quickly joined the team and showed that talented programmers study at Narxoz University. During my training, I gained the most significant experience in programming, algorithmization, and working with databases. My curriculum also included writing a course paper, and oddly enough, this course work was the starting point for the birth of the project that I have been living these two years. This project became my thesis, which I defended with "excellent". I also completed a semester at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics with" excellent " marks.
Moscow is not a random choice. Moscow has always attracted me as the center of everything. I had a lot of interesting moments in Moscow. So, I was able to visit the exhibition of interactive entertainment "Igromir", was at the parade on November 7, visited VDNH and much more.
The experience gained during academic mobility helped me to enter the master's program at the best IT university in Russia and the CIS.
In the end, I would like to wish everyone who is going to any university under the academic mobility program success in their studies. The Department of Academic Mobility at Narxoz University provides great opportunities for studying in different parts of the world. I would like to say a huge thank you to the Department, as well as a special thank you to the coordinator Rakhimova Fariza.

This year, I was lucky enough to spend the fall semester in Poland, at the University of Lodz. I like to learn something new and I get the best out of this program. The training program is very entertaining, a good part is aimed at developing practical knowledge. In addition, being in a multicultural environment, you begin to understand how people from other countries think, therefore you get information from the point of view of your specialty.
In addition to knowledge, coming to a new country for a long time, you inevitably face overcoming adaptations, from which you get a vivid life experience. Circumstances also gave me a great opportunity to travel around Europe, to contemplate the world in full glory and at the same time save money. I have already managed to go to several cities in Poland and visit Italy. And of course, I am grateful for new friends from different parts of the world.
Poland is a very cozy and beautiful country. In cities, everything is done "for people", and the weather is moderate and not harsh, respectively, it is very comfortable to live here. I am also delighted with my university. It has its pros and cons, but the positive is much more. A flexible training program, a scientific library and a campus equipped with all the amenities for obtaining knowledge. I do not regret anything and I advise everyone to experience it for themselves.

Academic mobility to Poland opened up a great opportunity for me to travel to Europe - and this was my big dream. Thanks to the trip, I gained the experience of independent life, new friends and a lot of positive emotions! And most importantly, mobility has taught me not to wait for the moment and act; I advise all students to apply for grants and trips, everyone should get such an experience!
The University of Lodz in Poland has an excellent reputation, and this is justified. I liked the versatile approach of the teachers and the type of classes.

First of all, mobility gave me the opportunity to get acquainted with the educational system of another country. I like that I can compare different approaches and choose the right one for me. Secondly, the development of survival skills. Sometimes it is very funny how much time and effort the simplest actions can take on the similarity of buying a train ticket, paying for a bus ride, canceling a purchase in a store, etc. However, these are situations that develop independence and confidence that in any circumstance you will be able to figure out and do your best. The last, however very important, are of course new acquaintances and travels! It is surprising that trips to another city or country, as well as an international company, become the norm during academic mobility.
I am currently studying at the University of Lodz in Poland. Impressions from both the country and the university are very positive. Despite the stereotype that Poles are very cold people, in reality it turned out that they are always ready to help, easily make contact and like to have fun (except that sometimes the service is lame, but these are trifles). The university welcomed us just as warmly, teachers are always ready to answer questions, treat students gently and with understanding. I think I have chosen interesting subjects here, so I am glad to learn something new every day.
